Varying work locations: FCE employees with MRDD may have the opportunity or option to work in more than one area. A person could be in the workshop some days and hours each week and on State Use and Transitional Employment contracts, or in a community employment job, other days and hours. This is based on the employees' stated desires, availability of work, and IP / Team meeting agreements.
Transportation: Employee bus transportation to and from FCE's workshops is provided by the Ross County Board of MRDD. Community job transportation is currently provided under a contract between the County Board and Goodwill. Transportation to and from State Use and Transitional Employment sites is a combination of Goodwill's transportation contract and FCE staff driving the employees they supervise at those sites.
Community Employment Supports: FCE provides these under a limited contract with the Ross County Board of MRDD. The employee must request that FCE provide these services, and the request must be pre-approved by the County Board.
